A mature student with lived experience of a successful financial services career, now teaching comprehensive classical Pilates . Observing and teaching movement led to seeing multiple concerns in participants including mental health challenges, cardiac issues, endocrine issues, hormonal imbalances and burnout. I started university to learn more with my hypothesis that hypermobility was much more than just a musculoskeletal issue. The intersection of hormonal and key life stages along with a differently structured brain and body makes for interesting interactions. Hereditary hypermobility requires much greater understanding
