Description

Prof. Bader Mohammed Alansari is Professor of Personality Psychology in the Department of Psychology, College of Social Sciences, Kuwait University. He received his PhD in Personality Psychology from University of Aberdeen, an MSc in Counseling Psychology from University of Denver, and a BSc in Psychology from Kuwait University. His research focuses on personality theory and assessment, particularly the Big Five model, maladaptive personality traits, psychological well-being, optimism and pessimism, anxiety, depression, and culturally adapted psychological measures in Arab populations. Prof. Alansari has published more than 90 peer-reviewed articles, authored over 20 books, and developed 85 standardized personality scales in Arabic. He has presented widely at international conferences and has received several national awards for his contributions to psychological science and the advancement of personality assessment in the Arab world.
