Dr. Mohammad Ahamd Abu Slaih, M.D., J.B.Psych., MPH, is a Jordanian board-certified consultant psychiatrist and Founder-Director of a private psychiatric center in Amman, where he also served at the National Center for Mental Health, Ministry of Health. His clinical expertise spans treatment-resistant depression, addiction psychiatry, and digital mental health, with a particular focus on telepsychiatry as a tool for cross-border humanitarian care. An active contributor to global psychiatry, he has served as session moderator and speaker at World Psychiatric Association congresses and has accepted presentations at the European Congress of Psychiatry (EPA 2026). A certified WHO mhGAP trainer, Dr. Abu Slaih has led capacity-building programs across Jordan in collaboration with the ILO, Save the Children, and Action Against Hunger. His published research has accumulated over 200 citations, and he contributes to international drug policy as a member of the EMCDDA Treatment Experts Committee.
