Description

STORZ MEDICAL AG, founded in 1987 and located on the Swiss shore of Lake Constance in Tägerwilen, develops and manufactures innovative shock wave systems and devices of the highest precision. We present the non-invasive Transcranial Pulse Stimulation (TPS) with the NEUROLITH® system, approved since 2018 for the treatment of patients with Alzheimer’s disease. The acoustic pulses generated by the NEUROLITH® system have been used in medicine since 1990 to treat various conditions and are referred to as extracorporeal shock waves. Furthermore, the BodyTrack® software integrated in the NEUROLITH®, together with the dedicated camera, represents a unique tool for visualising and monitoring the emitted TPS pulses and the course of treatment.
